News International's Times+ website was conceived as an experiemental platform designed to help increasing revenue for the online newspaper sector.

I had the task of primary front end developer (CSS/XHTML), and secondary designer / information architect for all sub-pages and associated user journeys.

The site is solidly built on the versatile 960 pixel grid system, whilst using optomisation techniques such as sprite maps for all user interface items.

I utilised various CSS3 techniques to aid transparency and layout effects for supporting browsers, whilst allowing the same effects to degrade gracefully on Internet Explorer 6 and similar, older browsers.

Wireframes

I also built a series of user journey sitemaps, flow diagrams and wireframes to illustrate the many different journeys a user could take in order to secure their subscription to the Times+ website.
