In 2007, I had the task to design, build and jointly manage Channel 4's Intranet. In 2008, the site won a BIMA award for Technology and Innovation.
I helped think up the idea of a 'live' homepage, where various data streams such as London Tube times, cafe menu's and "what's on" channel information, all delivered throughout the day, to the users homepage.

Using both powerful and optimised CSS tecnhiques, I created various themes for many of the sections on the site.
Some themes ended up being quite generic (wood, grass), while others ventured a bit more side-ways (peas, vampire teeth, fruity oranges).

To help get the site underway, I sketched up a detailed sitemap which helped Channel 4 understand the progression from the existing Intranet to their new Intranet.
